Chuy Bravo might be a little person, but his big heart more than makes up for his lack in height.  Growing up as the youngest of seven siblings, in a small town in Mexico, Bravo didn’t have much time to think about himself or his disability.  His time has always been consumed with worrying about the welfare of others.  Bravo never dreamed that one day Los Angeles would be his home, nor did he think that one day he would be calling the set at E!’s hit show “Chelsea Lately” his office.  But Chuy Bravo will be the first one to tell you, “God works in mysterious ways.”

Chuy Bravo’s road to stardom has been long and arduous.  Bravo landed a couple of small roles in some big blockbusters such as Pirates of the Caribbean 3 and Austin Powers 3 before his big break came in the form of his latest gig.  Chuy Bravo stars as the loveable assistant to Chelsea Handler on the E! Network hit show “Chelsea Lately.”  Chelsea who has been a mentor to Chuy and coined his nickname “Little Nugget” has been instrumental in his fame.  She has even inspired him to pen a book, appropriately named “Little Nuggets of Wisdom,” which is filled with all the witty knowledge he has picked up during his journey to the Hollywood dream.

Bravos dedication and determination to make a difference in the world is admirable and inspiring. After hearing about a little girl in Mexico who had made straight A’s and had never owned a computer, Bravo decided to take action. He quickly rallied the “Chelsea Lately” staff to help raise the funds for a laptop donation and put up his own hard earned cash to the cause. The experience has inspired Bravo to continue to provide much needed computers for good students who lack the necessary resources to enhance their education. Through support of his friends, family and the “Chelsea Lately” crew, Bravo hopes to make the laptop donation an annual giveaway to dozens of deserving students in the US and in Mexico. Struggling to overcome the side effects of his own disability, Bravo aspires to open a rehab center in Mexico to help heal those in need. On Christmas Eve, quarterback Tom Brady finally asked supermodel Gisele to marry him.  They were aboard a private jet heading for Botson.  He proposed with champagne and 4 dozen white roses.  Guess he was planning on her saying yes with the champagne on board.

Gisele’s parents knew what was happening before she did and Tom was said to be quite nervous.

Congrats to the happy couple!  Don’t forget Tom Brady still has a baby with former girlfriend Bridget Moynahan!  Do you think this is going to cause any problems in the marriage?

A NIght of honoring 15 years in Music, Movies and Showbiz…..

In 1998, the singing career of Tyrese Gibson was born. “Lingerie Football League linebacker Melissa Jo Berry has nude photos posted on her ex-boyfriend, Mark Dawson’s MySpace and is suing him.  This lawsuit from a chick that prances around half naked? Read more on Melissa Berry’s nude photos below.

The Tampa Bay Tribune recently reported that Melissa Berry said her ex tried to extort, humiliate and hurt her by showing the photographs to her mother and and posting them on MySpace without her permission.

Mark Dawson tells a very different story saying that Melissa, who was previously a dancer at the strip club The Dollhouse had willingly posed for the nude photos.

This is nothing but an ex-girlfriend trying to cause problems. For her to say that these pictures were taken against her knowledge is untrue because she is smiling in them. She takes her clothes off for a living and tells people I am doing all this other stuff. What she’s doing now is creating a drama because there are pictures out there of her.” (Stupid Celebrities)

Herman and Roma Rosenblat

Berkley Books, Publishers of “Angel at the Fence” written by Herman Rosenblat have withdrawn the book after scholars, historians and even relatives have given proof that parts of the memoir are false.  Rosenblat claims to have met his future wife while imprisoned in a concentration camp during the Holocaust.  He made up a dazzling tale of their courtship; she was living in secret with a Christian family and for months would throw Rosenblat bread and apples over the fence at Schlieben, a sub-camp of Buchenwald.  Their story came out in the 1990’sand the couple appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show twice where she called it the “single greatest love story… we’ve ever told on the air”.

Fraudulent memoirs have become commonplace, but ever since James Frey’s A Million Little Pieces the shock factor of a falsified memoir is gone.

However, the fact that this couple used the Holocaust as their way to touch people’s hearts is just terrible.  I just can’t understand how they could go on living a lie!  I find it seriously unethical and harmful to history that anyone should falsify anything about their life and print it, but to fabricate anything about the Holocaust is just wrong!

Rosenblat’s claim about his wife angered family members so much that even one of his brothers stopped speaking to him.

“The way he lied for years and years was utterly reprehensible,” said Sidney Finkel, a friend and fellow camp inmate. “On the other hand, I feel sorry for him, because at a very early age he experienced the Holocaust and never had a chance to grow up in a normal home. Maybe this explains why he did what he did.”

The story inspired a wealth of opportunity for the couple including a children’s book, and even a movie that is set to begin production in 2009. The movies producer, Harris Salomon says “the integrity and the beauty of the story remains as a work of fiction” and production will go on.

Berkley Books has cancelled the book and has asked that the author and his agent return all moneys given for this work of fakery.

Sounds like justice to me!  Though the fictionalized story will make a decent movie what do you think about this couple using the Holocaust to make some money for themselves?  It also makes you wonder how so many false “memoirs” are coming out? Are the fact-checkers doing their jobs or is it just apart of the job that false information will slip through the cracks?

We now know what happened between Lindsay Lohan and Sam Ronson last Sunday just before she went to the hospital. The two were in a nuclear screaming match at their Hollywood Hills home.

Neighbors tell us they were going at it for a long time, but it reached a crescendo at around 4:00 AM after one of them screamed at the other, “You never say you love me.” The screaming continued and neighbors heard a glass break. Sam then screamed, “If you’re gonna break things get out of my house.” One neighbor described the conversation as “wailing, with lots of obscenities.”

A short time later Sam went to the hospital — her rep says for exhaustion.

Ronson joined Linds to shop on Tuesday — Lindsay apparently hadn’t gotten all the obscenities out of her system.

DJ AM is now suing over the jet crash that almost took his life in September and killed 4 people.

The lawsuit was filed today in  L.A. County Superior Court by Adam Goldstein, aka DJ AM.  In the suit he claims that as the jet reached takeoff speed the pilots became aware that one or more of the tires had blown. The suit insists, “Rather than proceed to takeoff, they decided to abort and/or reject the takeoff in a negligent manner.” The plane proceeded to overshoot the runway and then instantly burst into flames.

He is suing the deceased pilots family, Sarah Lemmon and James Blank.  He is also suing Clay Lacy Aviation, Global Exec Aviation, Inter Travel & Services Inc, Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co, and Learjet.

DJ AM is suing for pain and suffering, lost earnings, property damage, past and future medical and health-related expenses, and punitive damages.

Travis Barker has already filed a similar suit.
