We all know Tom Cruise as the hotty from
Risky Business and
Top Gun and as the crazy man who jumped on
Oprah's couch professing his love for
Katie Holmes, but there is a lot more to Tom than you think. Here are
Five Fun Facts that I am sure most of you didn't know about Tom Cruise.

His Education
Tom Cruise moved a lot as a kid and as a result he attended eight different elementary schools and three high schools. At one of his high schools he was cut from the Varsity football team after being caught drinking beer before a game.

He Career Choices
Acting wasn't Tom Cruise's only choice for a
career, he also aspired to become a Catholic Priest and even attended a Franciscan seminary in Cincinnati for one semester on a church scholarship. He started acting after suffering a knee injury that caused him to be cut from his high school wrestling team.

Tom Cruise was born
Tom Cruise Mapother IV, but dropped his father's last name when he was twelve.

His Marriages
Tom Cruise has been married three times. His first marriage was to Mimi Rogers on May 9, 1987. They were married for almost three years and it is believed that Mimi is the person responsible for introducing Tom to Scientology. His second marriage to Nicole Kidman, with whom he adopted two children, lasted close to eleven years. He is now married to Katie Holmes and the they have a young daughter,
Suri, together.

Tom Cruise has been in a total of 35 movies with the first being
Endless Love in 1981 and his most recent
Valkyrie which premieres on Thursday December 19th. His movies have grossed more money than I can add, even with a calculator. Tom has won three Golden Globes, been nominated for three Oscars and was voted
People's sexiest man alive in 1990.
Personally, craziness aside, I think Tom Cruise is still the sexiest man alive. Katie Holmes is one lucky lady. Of his three marriages, she suits him best. And their daughter is tooo cute. What do you think?
