John Travolta's 16 year old son, Jett, died after having a seizure on Friday, January 2nd. Jett, who has a history of seizures, was on vacation with his family in the Bahama's when the seizure occurred.
Jett is the oldest of John Travolta and Kelly Preston's two children; they have a daughter, Ella, who is 8 years old. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Travolta family. Read the full story at

Update: The family released a statement on Sunday indicating that Jett hit his head on the bathtub during his seizure. An autopsy has been perfomred, but the report has not yet been released. Police said that a house caretaker came upon Jett unconscious in the bathroom and attempted to revive him. Read more at

A message on John Travolta's website says, "Jett was the most wonderful son that two parents could ever ask for and lit up the lives of everyone he encountered. We are heartbroken that our time with him was so brief. We will cherish the time we had with him for the rest of our lives."
