Obama Choses Celebs Over Our Nations Heroes

Of all the dozens of balls the night of President Obama's inauguration, the President chose to attend the star studded balls over what many believe to be the most important ball of all, the Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball.

The Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball is a tradition that started in 1953 for Dwight Eisenhower's inauguration. The ball recognizes members of our military that have received the Medal of Honor award, our nation's highest military award.
President Obama is the first president to skip this ball, however Vice President Biden did make an appearance. Hopefully this isn't a foreshadowing of how Obama plans to treat our military for the next four years.
The celebs should have been put on the back burner not our nations true heroes, but I am sure most of you will buy into his lame excuse of "unprecedented logistical challenges" that kept him from attending. You can read more at
