Ben Affleck Claims That Dating Jennifer Lopez Made Him Miserable And Gross

Posted on July 9, 2009 - 11:41pm by tammy In a recent interview with Ben Affleck he admits that dating Jennifer Lopez was not the best thing for himself nor his career. He says some pretty mean things about his experience as Benifer. Here is what he said:

"I was no longer in control of my life. I thought I wanted certain things, but I didn't. I got lost. I felt suffocated, miserable and gross. I should never have gone down that route or got sucked in to all the publicity. "I was typecast as myself. Too many people weren't getting past what they read about me. That was damaging. I can tell from experience it's bad for you, and bad for your career. So I took a break, went away for a while and let things calm down."

He also admits that he is content with playing the father role. "Work has taken a back seat. My job is not as important as it was. Saying that having a family changed my life is a cliche. But it's true - it re-arranged my life and made me see clearly." I think I have to admit with Ben here. JLo turned him into a totally different person, putting him in a new, hotter spotlight. Benifer was intersting to us hince the reason they fell apart. It just was not working. You could tell it wasn't Ben's thing to be that important or that famous. Jennifer Garner is way better suited for him.
