If you are wondering what changes you will be seeing on the new drama vamped episodes of 'Jon and Kate Plus 8', now that the ridiculous couple have split, wonder no more.
The hit reality show, which has been on hiatus since the couple announced they were divorcing, will finally be returning to Monday night's on TLC but unfortunately without "the couch."
TLC's president Eileen O'Neill says the sofa from which the couple addressed the camera is gone and replaced by "separate interview chairs." TLC will "continue to capture this family's journey in a respective and sensitive way" as the Gosselins practice "parenting separately," she says.
"You're still going to see two parents that love their kids," she said. "You'll see what it's like when Kate has to put up a tent for a backyard camping experience by herself. Or, you'll see Jon trying to cook up a pizza for the kids."
"As far as new people and places that may be cycling into Jon and Kate's life, we are taking it on a case-by-case basis," O'Neill added. "This is real life. It's important to remember that our cameras are only there for moments in time, and those moments have limits."
Kate weighs in on some of the changes viewers will see in the Gosselin family, telling Us, "It is my new attitude that I'm going to do things I've never done before."
On Monday's episode, fans will see Kate and the kids on vacation in North Carolina, as Kate dashes after her beach-happy kids in a bright orange two-piece. Despite the tough times for their family, things like trips to the beach are necessary luxuries. Kate explains, "They are still kids, they still enjoy things. They still want to do things."
