Damn! 'New Moon' Nude Scence Not Real
On Friday we were all fooled to believe that Jacob, Edward, and the wolves weren't the only ones taking off their shirts and showing us their sexy bodies in the movie, New Moon.
Jamie Campbell Bower, who plays Caius, revealed to MTV News that himself, Christopher Heyerdaul, and Michael Sheen were all part of a nude scene in which their characters were bathing naked.
He said, "We just all sit there, completely naked, for one scene. Yeah, it's me, Michael Sheen and Christopher Heyerdahl. We just sit there, naked."
In the scene Carlisle (Facinelli) visits the Volturi and stumbles upon the three, Aro (Sheen), Marcus (Heyerdahl), and Caius, takinga communal bath.
Per MTV:
"It's a full-body shot, and then Peter comes in, and it all gets a bit awkward," Bower said. "[Carlisle] is clothed completely. They're bathing in sort of a Roman bath kind of thing."
Not to bum you out but because this scene never took place in the book, it won't be in the movie. According to director Chris Weitz, who sounds a bit infuriated by Bower's comment has released a statement debunking Bower's claim saying,
Per Twilight Source:
Dear all,
I would like to put everyone's mind at rest and let them know that the Volturi are not naked! Jamie (Campbell-Bower) has what you might call a dry sense of humor and almost managed to convince me which is why he's such a good actor. Anyway, be assured that, even though we do want the look of the Volturi to be a bit of a surprise, they are always as in the book! fully clothed.
best,
Chris Weitz
Damn that dry British humor. Shame on you Bower for fooling us all. But than again I'm a little happy I don't have to imagine Sheen or Heyerdaul naked anymore.
