A small plane and a tour helicopter crashed in midair over the Hudson River in New York earlier today, August 8th.It is believed that all nine passengers from both aircraft have died. New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg called the crash "not survivable" and stated, "This is not going to have a happy ending. This has changed from a rescue to a recovery mission."The helicopter, which belonged to Liberty Helicopter Sightseeing Tours, was carrying five Italian tourist at the time of the crash and witnesses say it just dropped out of the sky.Divers are searching the area and two bodies have been recovered.Our thoughts go out to the victims families.
