Jay-Z is pretty much one of the only people on this planet who is defending Kanye "Jackass" West, regarding his VMA outburst. In an interview with BBC Radio, Jay-Z told them he thinks the situation has been blown way out of poportion. He said, "It's an award show. He's just a superpassionate person" Jay did ackknowledge that Kanye's behavior towards Taylor Swift was inappropriate. He said, "Of course it was rude, because it was her moment, but that's the way he really felt. I think it was rude, but the way they're treating him...He's on the cover of every paper. He didn't kill anybody. No one got harmed."He continued, "I think it's a bit blown out. It was pretty rude. At the end of the day, we're gonna celebrate him for his passion more than vilify him. As he grows and matures, he has to balance that." Jay finishes, "I don't think he should lay low. I think he should move on and have a brilliant career." Jay-Z is not the only one who thinks people should shut-up about the whole incident. Taylor Swift told the MJ Morning Show on Tampa Bay's 93.9 that she wasn't going to talk about that dreadful night anymore."I'm just honestly trying not to make it into a bigger deal than it already is. It's kind of become more of a big deal than I ever thought it would be. I just, you know, it happened on TV, so everybody saw what happened. I just would like to move on maybe a little bit.""Do you think it was a scripted thing?" he asked."Well...you know, I um...I didn't know what to think, but I think that we should maybe talk about something else, because, um, I've talked about this in one interview, and that was going to be it. It's not something I feel like we need to keep talking about."
