Jon vs. Kate... Let the Messy Divorce Begin

Posted on October 5, 2009 - 4:36pm by loretta According to TMZ, Kate Gosselin and her high-powered lawyer, Mark Momjian, have filed legal papers with a Pennsylvania court in an attempt to regain the $230,000 Jon took from their bank account. Mark told TMZ that he filed the papers this morning, October 5th, noting that Jon allegedly violated an order prohibiting him from taking anything out of the account without Kate's sign-off. Mark also claims that Kate is being harassed by Jon and his lawyer and wants the judge to hit Jon with financial sanctions. And the best part is that Jon's lawyer isn't even a member of the Pennsylvania bar and has asked the judge for permission to represent Jon. A request that Kate's lawyer opposes and has filed papers on the grounds that Jon's lawyer lied to the court and was suspended by the New York bar for various wrong doings. Kate is also requesting that Jon be cited for contempt for removing the funds. This proves how much Jon really wanted to save his marriage. What a joke? Who's the bad guy now?
