New Moon Gets Blind Sided by Sandra Bullock

Warner Bros., The Blind Side, starring Sandra Bullock, was No. 1 at the box office over the weekend end, bringing in $20.4 million. The news even surprised the people at Warner Bros., as The Blind Side has earned more than double what they had expected. Jeff Goldstein, executive vice president of distribution at Warner Bros, stated,

How outstanding is it to have a movie at No. 1 in its third weekend? I don't know of anybody who ever saw anything this big.

New Moon came in at second with $15.7 million and still remains No. 1 in total earnings with $570.1 million worldwide.
