The current season of The Tyra Show will be its last.Tyra Banks has annnounced that after 5 great seasons, there will not be a 6th. Tyra stated,

This will be the last season of The Tyra Show. I've been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past 5 years.

Tyra isn't completely leaving TV behind she is just changing careers. Tyra plans to put her time and energy into her production company, Bankable Studios and focus on bringing "positive images of women to the big screen."On her website, Tyra said,

There's a lot cooking right now and a lot of fire burning in my heart. And I salute you my amazing family of viewers; without you there never would have been a Tyra Show. I really love you all.
