Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller's Protective Order Lifted

Charlie Sheen was formally charged with felony menacing, misdemeanor 3rd degree assault and misdemeanor criminal mischief yesterday, February 8th.
The charges stem from the
Christmas day incident in which Charlie's wife, Brooke Mueller, claims Charlie attacked and threatened her. A protective order preventing Charlie from having any contact with Brooke was put in place just days after the incident.
Yesterday, the judge lifted that protective order giving Charlie permission to be with his wife again. Brooke's lawyer, Yale Galanter stated,
I can tell you, Brooke very badly wanted to have contact with Charlie. There were many children's issues that she wanted to communicate with him about.
Brooke's desire was to get the order modified so they could have contact and communicate because of their children. Judge Boyd was gracious enough to grant that and now Charlie and Brooke are on their way back to Los Angeles to continue their lives.
Hopefully, Brooke and Charlie learned their lesson about getting physical during a fight.
