Simon Cowell and Mezhgan Hussainy Engaged!

I didn't think it was possible, but someone has actually won the heart of
American Idol judge,
Simon Cowell.
Mezhgan Hussainy has announced that she is engaged to Simon. The couple began dating about a year ago, but have been friends for quite some time.
Simon's publicist,
Max Clifford, said,
She is someone who is independent and says what she thinks and feels, and he likes that. He's probably the happiest I have ever known him in the nine years I've been working with him.
No news on a wedding date, but it's rumored to take place sometime in 2010.
