Well, that was quick!  The highly-anticipated film, Valentine's Day, is already being turned into a sequel!   Variety is reporting that director Garry Marshall is gearing up for New Year's Eve, a film that will follow many of the same characters from Valentine's Day -- but on December 31st... and in New York City.

Valentine's Day features an all-star lineup that includes:  Ashton Kutcher, Julia Roberts, Jessica Biel, Patrick Dempsey and Jennifer Garner. The film hits theaters this Friday, February 12, 2010.

We like the idea of a sequel and we haven't even seen the film yet!  This could be the first romantic comedy franchise!

New Year's Eve is slated for release sometime in 2011.
