Lil Wayne Makes His Way to Rikers Island

Posted on March 8, 2010 - 11:37pm by loretta Lil Wayne has officially begun serving his one year jail sentence for gun charges at Rikers Island jail in New York. According to TMZ, Lil Wayne was transported to the jail in a corrections van and not with other prisoners because of his "high profile" status. It is unclear at this time if Lil Wayne will go into the jail's general population or if he'll be given his own cell. What we do know is that his first meal behind bars will be, noodles with beef sausage & marinara sauce, steamed greens, a mixed green salad, whole wheat bread, sliced peaches and a fruit drink or tea. There is good news for Lil Wayne; his sentence can be reduced for good behavior. How long do you think Lil Wayne will actually be in for?
