Disney's New Musical Movie 'Lemonade Mouth'
The Disney Channel has begun to film another original musical movie in Albuquerque, New Mexico -- the same place High School Musical was filmed!
Lemonade Mouth is the new project the 'House of Mouse' is producing and the film will star some familiar Disney faces!
The film will star Bridgit Mendler, the star of Disney's Good Luck Charlie, as Olivia White. For the male lead, Adam Hicks, star of Disney's Zeke and Luther, is set to take on the role of Wen Gilford! Cute!
The movie is based on the book written by April Blair -- and will feature nine original songs for fans to sing along to! Just like HSM and Camp Rock, the movies will have fun choreography and a soundtrack will be released with all the music from the movie!
Sounds like a formula that has worked in the past!
The story is about five high school students who all find themselves in detention, and amidst being in trouble, they realize they all share a love for music. Naturally, the characters form a band and take over the school's social scene!
