It's a battle of the pop princesses -- Twitter style! Lady Gaga has just surpassed Britney Spears as the most followed person on Twitter. At the time of this post, Lady Gaga has 5,674,003 followers while Britney Spears has 5,670,352.
After surpassing Spears, Gaga tweeted out a picture with the caption, 'Kiss The Queen' -- a snapshot of her posing with rowdy rock-band, Kiss. Check it out:
Spears stole the 'most-followed on Twitter' title from Ashton Kutcher just three months ago. The comedic actor currently has 5,555,180 followers. According to Famecount.com, Gaga's popularity on Twitter should not come as a shock. Gaga, 24, is the most popular online entity in the world. The Bad Romance singer has over 16 million Facebook fans and nearly 350,000 Youtube subscribers -- even President Barack Obama's popularity on the Internet comes in second place to Gaga's!
Teen sensation Justin Bieber could surpass Spears, Gaga & Kutcher in the near future! Bieber currently has 4,643,762 followers.
