"I'm not going to speak with you 'till you turn your life around. You embarrassed me. You used your last name. No one uses their real name in porn."
Apparently Laurence didn't care that his daughter actually did a porn movie, just that she used their family name. Guess next time she should use a fake name and she'll get her daddy's approval.

I think that is is sad that Laurence Fishburne is more concerned about his family name rather than his daughter entering the porn industry.

Exactly, WWP. This girl is an opportunist to be using her father's name and running out to every media source that will give her 5 minutes of airplay. I admire her desire to become famous at any cost, but dare I say she makes Kim Kardashian look classy by comparison?? Laurence has every reason to be ashamed by his daughter and disown her until she turns herself around. Don't know their history, but he seems too noble a person to deserve anything less than that. That being said, it doesn't mean that's ALL he said to her, but that's all she's willing to share.
Why should he be concerned about his daughter? If she's old enough to do porn, she's old enough to take responsibility for it. Actions have consequences!! I'm glad he was that nice about it ... I'm pretty sure my daddy would NOT have been.

The reason Laurence Fishburn's daughter went into porn is because he is more concerned about his family name than he is concerned for her. That is pretty clear. Narcissism has a price. She is doing this because he is a loser of a father.
we only have her version of the two sided conversation between her and her dad. Not every prostitute or porn star have daddy issues, and not every female with daddy issues become tramps. You make your children you dont make their mind. She lost credibility to me when she did that interview with the chick from E! she looked sounded dumb.
When a daughter does something like this it must be a very big disappointment.
