Rumors have been circulating that Aerosmith's front man and musical legend, Steven Tyler, will take a seat at the judging table for American Idol next season.

Steven himself said to TMZ, "I'm Doing It!" Fox however, has yet to release an official statement regarding the rumored new panel, but Steven pretty much confirms all that we have been hearing!

Now, Jennifer Lopez needs to get on the horn and confirm that she is on the Idol bandwagon, too. Last week the famous American Idol  judging panel was rocked when Ellen DeGeneres announced she would be leaving and Kara DioGuardi  was reportedly fired from the reality competition show!

The nasty, yet popular Simon Cowell, already put in his notice back in the spring that he would be leaving, which means Randy Jackson is the only original judge left on the show. Wonder how Steven and Randy will get along? Perhaps Steven's big mouth will make up for Simon's absence!
