Being the generous man that he is, Johnny Depp bought the entire staff of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides a winter coat.

It's been freezing cold on the set of the next installment of the Pirates franchise so Johnny took it upon himself to order everyone a "nice warm waterproof" coat, spending a reported $60,000.

A source says,

Johnny paid out of his own pocket for all 500 of us to have a nice warm waterproof. It's a great morale boost and another example of why his is one of the nicest people in Hollywood.
