Taylor Swift Is Songwriter-Artist Of The Year
Taylor Swift attended a private event in Nashville on Sunday where she was named song-writer artist of the year by the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI).
This was the third time in four years Taylor has won the award.
"I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so generous with me," Swift said after accepting her award. "Whether it was telling fairy tales or sad stories or stories that were just about my life and what I was going through, you've been wonderful to me. And I'm having a blast telling stories."

Taylor got the award for writing Love Story, Fifteen and You Belong With Me. Her song You Belong With Me was also recognized as one of the "Ten Songs I Wish I'd Written' by professional songwriters. Other artists that made the list were Miley Cyrus, Tim McGraw and Lady Antebellum.

Swift didn't have much time to celebrate winning her award. Right after the event ended she got on a plane to Europe to continue promoting her album Speak Now. The album comes out on October 25.
"Please wish me luck because I am a nervous wreck!" Taylor said about her album's release.
