We haven't seen much of Taylor Momsen on this season's Gossip Girl. So far she has only appeared in 3 episodes, despite being a regularmember of the cast, and it looks like we will be seeing even less ofher come springtime!

According to Deadline, Momsen will be absent from at least four episodes, starting with the show's mid-season finale on December 6.

While Momsen has certainly been acting up and bringing her bad girl Jenny Humphrey character to life, a Gossip Girl insider says writers are keeping Jenny out of so many episodes is simply for creative reasons.  The CW has not commented on the subject.

Don't worry, though, Gossip Girl fans!  There is sure to be just as much drama in the second half of the season as we've seen before.

"We have another guest star coming on, which is amazing," Gossip Girl star, Jessica Szohr, said.  "She starts to date Chuck Bass which is exciting because everyone always wants Chuck and Blair together.  This someone throws a little loop in their relationship - or throws everyone, actually!"

Momsen's Gossip Girl hiatus remains indefinite, for now, but will give her a chance to focus on her band Pretty Reckless.
