During a discussion on the legalization of weed on Bill Maher's 'Real Time', Zach Galifianakis pulled out a joint and proceeded to smoke it on national television. But among the controversy of the fiasco, it has been revealed that the joint Zach Galifianakis smoked was in fact just a prop.

Bill Maher commented that the joint was not the real thing when he was interviewed by CNN's Wolf Blitzer.

"If it was a real joint, Wolf, I would have smoked it ... I think it was cloves or something. Zach's crazy, he's not that crazy."

And while doing his media tour for his new movie, Due Date, Zach stopped by the Late Show with Jimmy Fallon and kind of explained the joke.

"In the entertainment business, [there's] a lot of smoke and mirrors, and there's a lot of things that aren't necessarily true or real."

Then he wisked of his wig and hilariously revealed his newly shaved head!
