Christina Aguilera's BIG 'Star Spangled Banner' Mishap!!

Christina Aguilera may never live down the fact that she messed up the national anthem on national TV as millions of Americans watched.

It appears that singing The Star Spangled Banner at the Super Bowl made Christina overwhelmingly nervous because she completely forgot one line and sang another line incorrectly.

Christina left out "O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming" and sang "What so proudly we watched at the twilight's last reaming" instead of "What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming."

    yeah i noticed it, but c'mon, give the girl some slack! she knows how to sing!! it's not like what Roseanne Barr did to our national anthem in the past, or like that guy who made up words that one time...i still think she did good.

    Give the girl a break. I could have done without her R&B-ing the national anthem all up so much, but she has a phenomenal voice, I don't care what anybody says. And I'd like to see any of you get up in front of a live audience of tens of thousands and a televised audience of millions and pull it off flawlessly!

    IT'S OKAY it happens to the best of us! I had to sing in front of the whole school by myself it's fine you forgot a few words that was probably because of either nerves or excitement. We still luv you. NO WORRIES!!

    Well as most of you forgot to point out is that she is a professional singer so she should be used to singing in front of large crowds. If you are gonna sing the NA in front of that many people don't you think you would make sure you new the words.

    What's with all the sympathy?! She is a professional! And how much did she get paid for that? I'm sorry, but as a professional there are some mistakes that cannot be tolerated.
