Make-up:

Make-up on the red carpet for teens should be natural, fresh and should highlight the starlet’s radiance and glow!

Here are the top three tips make-up artist Albie Gonzalz has for teens --In which he shared with Hollywire's own Sara Scoggins via personal make-up lesson! Take notes ladies!

  1. Keep it simple! You can do so by using neutral earth tones to compliment and highlight your natural features.
  2. Hydrate and luminate!  It is important to never use matte foundation! Always keep the skin dewy and with a sheer luminous tint. Also keep skin hydrated with aqua gel and drink plenty of water before your big day in the spotlight!
  3. Glossy lips are a girl’s best friend! Be sure to keep lips glossy with a tint of color while flashing a star studded smile and posing for shutter bugs on the carpet—or any special occasion!

**Make-up products we love: For teens on a budget you can pick up affordable products at your local drug store CVS, Rite-Aid etc. Recommended brands include L’OREAL, Covergirl and Vichy. And if you are willing to splurge, you can never go wrong with NARS products! Especially the Multiple Stick!

Hair! Hair! Hair!

Young Hollywood hair trends that are taking over are simple and elegant! Recently teens have been spotted sporting lose curls to give an effortless elegant beachy look. Vanessa Hudgens is famous for her relaxed wavy brunette locks making a young statement on the carpet.

Going along with the theme of the relaxed and effortless, updos seem to follow the same formula. Loose curls are gently pulled back to create a classic young look that shows off their fresh face. The simple off-the-face look can be paired with a side bang or headband accessory to keep things trendy, snazzy & unique! Glee starlets, Lea Michele, Dianna Agron and Heather Morris are all fans of this lovely trend.
