Vanessa Hudgens Covers 'DETAILS'
WOW!! Vanessa Hudgens is all grown up and ready to take on her new sexy role in Sucker Punch and the former Disney stars talks about preparing for the role with DETAILS magazine.
Vanessa dishes on how she and the other actresses trained with Navy Seals and ran around Vancouver, where the movie was filmed, like "we owned it."
Vanessa met up with a reporter from DETAILS at a packed coffee shop in Los Angeles and the two got right down to business. The actress props her feet up on a potted plant, takes them down, puts them up again. She continues to fidget, running her hand through her hair and playing with her bubble gum she placed on the lid of her coffee cup. Vanessa explains, "I'm not nervous. I'm excited. I'm like, a very hyper, energetic, crazy type of crazy. I have a lot going on. Always. I'll dance on a table sober."
It's that energy that made her fit into the Sucker Punch perfectly. Sucker Punch is a sort of mashup of The Lord of the Rings, Showgirls and Girl, Interrupted. It's about a girl who is place in a mental institution by her evil step-father. The girl creates an alternative reality to cope, envisioning a plan to help her escape the facility.
"We trained with Navy Seals," Vanessa says. "We were machines. You could not f*** with us. We'd all go running around Vancouver, where we filmed, to restaurants and bars and karaoke, like we owned it. We'd intentionally cruise back alleys, knowing that if anything did happen, we'd be all right. Taking the safest way home at that point was just boring."

Moving on from her professional life, DETAILS' asks about her break-up with Zac Efron, "We're still friends. Who knows what the future will bring," Vanessa states. "We're figuring things out."

Fans hope for a Zac and Vanessa reunion and the above statement doesn't rule it out. We'll just have to wait and see.
