Sandra Bullock Donates $1 Million to Help Japan!
Sandra Bullock continues to live up to her name as 'America's Sweetheart!' She has donated $1 million dollars to help fund the relief efforts in Japan following the devastating earthquake and tsunami that occurred last week.
While many celebs have contributed and helped get donations, Bullock has gone above and beyond what anyone else has done with her donation to the American Red Cross.

The Red Cross made it extremely clear that they are grateful for Sandra's donation and released this statement to express their gratitude:
"The American Red Cross is extremely grateful for this generous support from Sandra Bullock and her family. This contribution is vitally important as the Red Cross works to provide critical assistance and essential relief items in this time of urgent need for so many people in Japan."
However, Bullock is certainly no stranger to making big donations in times of need! Back in January 2010, when Haiti suffered from a tragic earthquake, she donated $1 million dollars to Doctors Without Borders to help with relief efforts there, as well.

Lady Gaga has also proven to be a huge help with the tragedy in Japan. She designed a prayer bracelet that she has sold online via her Twitter page, where her message has reached her millions of followers. As of a few days ago, Gaga had already raised $250,000!
It is so inspiring to see celebs, like Sandra Bullock, Lady Gaga and dozens of others, help the rest of the world out in a time when they need it the most!
