Selena Gomez NOT Punched By Justin Bieber Fan

Justin Bieber fans have been known to get a little overprotective and aggressive when it comes to their favorite star. That's why it wasn't too much of a surprise when rumors surfaced that a fan punched Bieber's girlfriend, Selena Gomez, in the face.

However, a rep for Gomez has confirmed to E! that there is "absolutely no truth to the story." Can't a girl take a break from being photographed every once in a while?!

The rumor started after Bieber and Gomez were photographed leaving dinner on Tuesday, March 1th, for Justin's Birthday. Selena was covering her face, but revealed what looked to be a fat lip. Shortly after that, #sorryjustin began trending on Twitter.

We know that Bieber fans can get pretty violent with their words on the Internet, like in the aftermath of Esperanza Spalding's Grammy win against Justin, but it's good to know that no one has resorted to violence!

As for why Selena was covering her face, well, no comments have been made from her or her reps on the subject, but it wouldn't be surprising if she was just overwhelmed by all the photogs!

All these crazy fans need to get a life and learn to leave these people alone and let them have their own life! selena actually did get hit but it was by a photographer who accidently hit her in the face. and as for "jelena" i love them a lot. i think they are such a sweet couple. pretty much a perfect match. those don't really come around to often. i hope for the sake of everyone they stay together and show that above everything love conquers all. -kristen

And selena dosent desreve to be treated like this by JB's fans by getting death threats and such.
