Chris Colfer Heading to Disney, Scores Big Honor!
Though he isn't even 21 years old, Glee star Chris Colfer is taking over the world! Not only has he penned an indie movie that he's set to star in this summer, called Struck By Lightning, but he's written a pilot for a show that Disney has picked up -- and will start production on any day now! How exciting!
According to Deadline.com, the new pilot that Colfer scripted is called The Little Leftover Witch, which is based on a children’s book of the same name by Florence Laughlin. The series will center around a little witch who was taken in by a family after crash-landing on her broom.

So, how did Chris get involved with the cute new project!? According to Deadline, the book was originally optioned by Rick Fine, the husband of Colfer's Coast To Coast talent agent Meredith Fine, who brought the book to Chris to adapt.
