Lindsay Lohan Sentenced to Jail for Violating Probation!
Lindsay Lohan has been sentenced to 120 days in jail for violating her probation, Effective...IMMEDIATELY!
Lohan spent the day in court proceedings to determine whether or not there was enough evidence to convict her of a felony for an alleged jewelry theft, which occurred earlier this year.
The new judge appeared to be especially giving at first, by dropping Lohan's jewelry theft charges from a felony down to a misdemeanor.
However, the judge ruled in favor that Lohan was indeed in violation of her probation set earlier this year. She was immediately taken into custody, and given a not so Easter friendly jumper to boot.
Lohan was accused of felony grand theft back in January over a $2,500 necklace that Kamofie and Co. claims she stole.
Lindsay claims that she is innocent saying that the necklace was actually out on loan. The store's owner says that this scenario is not possible because of all the paperwork involved to loan anything to anyone regardless of celebrity status.
Lohan will apparently be filming two movies very soon, but another jaunt to the slammer could change things for the starlet. She expressed her desire to start acting again after her release from rehab earlier this year.
