Getting to Know Adam Hicks of 'Lemonade Mouth!'
As the newest musical drama to hit the Disney Channel, Lemonade Mouth introduces an array of young talent that we couldn't be more excited to share with you! Playing the Keyboard loving Wen, 18-year-old actor and musician Adam Hicks took some time to chat with Hollywire about rumors of a possible LM sequel, his love for song writing and his 'current' celebrity crush!

Adam plays the fun-loving keyboardist/ rapper in the flick, going by the name of Wen Gifford who is a bit of an underdog when it comes to high school status. Adam tells us that it was a major transition from his current leading role on Disney's popular show, Zeke and Luther -- where Hicks plays the oh-so-popular Luther.
Not only does Hicks lend his acting and musical talents to the role of Wen, but he also wrote three songs that are featured on the film's official soundtrack -- pretty impressive! "It's very exciting to have these songs I have written on Lemonade Mouth's soundtrack. The ultimate success for me is to be a song writer and rapper for Disney -- really allowing there to be a crossover with hip-hop and the Disney demographic. I want to make people rock out!"
With such musical talent and inspiring motivation brewing inside the young fella, he shared with us his dream collaboration, and his choices are amazing! "Ahh, there are so many collaborations I would love to do! This is hard to choose, but Jay Z would obviously be amazing, The Rolling Stones. Man even Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber -- I just have such mad respect for all of them and think we could make some awesome music together!

With as much buzz as Lemonade Mouth has been receiving, there have been recent rumors of a possible sequel in the very near future. Having this in mind, we thought it was a great topic to bring up to Hicks, and although he couldn't confirm or deny -- he did say that he would be absolutely down for it! "Please let it be true! If there is a sequel in the works, I am the last person to know about it, but would of course be on board!"
The rising star has definitely seen a fan base behind him that he tells Hollywire he couldn't be more excited and grateful for it. "It's been cool to see the fan-base grow and to get recognized here and there." Hicsk continued, "I once had a girl ask me to sign her iPhone! I didn't know what to do -- so I looked at her mom and she just said 'if that's what she wants.' So I signed really small at the bottom." Hilarious!
Last but not least, we wanted to get out some juicy stuff about the young actor -- find out some things most people don't know about him. In doing so he shared four fun facts about himself that you may be surprised to know! He said he can stand on his hands for ten minutes, He reads every night before he goes to bed -- his favorite book being The Black Pearl. He has a major fear of deep water. "I panic when it comes to deep water, my motto is to just keep it at the waist!" And his last fun fact being that his celebrity crush is none other than Natalie Portman!
