President Barack Obama made Payton Wall's dreams come true last week when he promised she would meet pop star Justin Bieber.
Wall, a 14-year-old who lost her father in the attacks on the World Trade Center on 9/11, is a big fan of Bieber's and attributes his music to helping her through the rough times of her childhood.
When Wall tweeted, "I have an awful life story and without your music I don't know if I could have survived," to the unresponsive Bieber, she decided to take her case to the White House with a letter to the President of the United States. According to New York Magazine, it was at last week's ceremony at ground zero that Obama gave Payton a big hug, told her he knew Justin and promised her a meeting with the Never Say Never star.
"Pretty sure Barack Obama will keep this promise," Justin tweeted yesterday in response to doubts of the meeting taking place.
It may be a little while before Bieber gets to make good on the promise as he is currently on his way to quake-ravaged Japan to complete his Never Say Never World concert tour.
