Lady Gaga's new album Born This Way was released on May 23, and it's already on its way to making Billboard chart history!  Sources are saying that Gaga's third major release is set to score the highest opening sales figures in a decade.

The 25-year-old pop star will need to top 1.88 million unit sales to set a new record and outscore 'N Sync's 2001 release No Strings Attached.  She will also become the latest artist to break through the one million units sold barrier; the last entertainer to achieve this accomplishment is Taylor Swift for her Speak Now album, which debuted in November 2010 and with 1,047,000 sales.
