Sarah Michelle Gellar + Rachel Bilson Heading To The CW!
Former OC starlet Rachel Bilson and former Buffy The Vampire Slayer actress Sarah Michelle Gellar are both heading to The CW this fall! The network announced its first series pickups for the upcoming season, green-lighting Bilson's show Hart of Dixie as well as Gellar's Ringer.

Gellar broke out as a star on the long-lived WB series Buffy The Vampire Slayer, so it's no surprise the actress would be heading back to her roots -- the WB was replaced by the CW. Ringer centers around Bridget (Gellar), a troubled young woman on the run from the mob who hides out by inhabiting the life of her wealthy twin sister, Siobhan... until she learns her twin’s life is also in danger.

Bilson teamed up with Josh Schwartz, the creator of her former hit Fox show, The OC as well as the mastermind behind the CW's current hit Gossip Girl for her new series. In Hart of Dixie, Bilson will play a New York doctor who moves to the South after inheriting a small medical practice in the area. The comedic drama will also star Jamie King and Scott Porter.
