Crystal Harris Possibly Pawning Hef's Engagement Ring!

Hugh Hefner's runaway bride and Playboy Playmate, Crystal Harris was spotted at a jewelry store in San Diego, California trying to find out how much her engagement ring is really worth.

TMZ is reporting that Harris visited Prospect Jewelers in La Jolla, California asking for an appraisal on her ring. The store owner asked Harris if she had any documentation on the quality of the ring, but she didn't. After her attempts to get the info from the Playboy Mansion were unsuccessful, Harris left the store.

TMZ's "spy" overheard the conversation between Harris and the store owner and it appears as though the wedding was a publicity stunt. The owner told Harris he was sorry about the split and she replied, "Are you kidding? It was all for publicity."

that's sad if their engagement was all for publicity. but maybe it's better for heff if it was.
