Joe revealed to ITV's Daybreak that he asked U2's frontman Bono for advice on his solo album and stated, "Bono has always been my musical inspiration. I was writing and doing my solo project, and he was very encouraging with the lyrics... Having his support and being able to speak to him about my music is unreal."

The video has already been released in the US and features a very different sound than his music as a Jonas Brother member. Joe wanted the video to match the emotional drive of the song, saying, "I think it's more so about how the emotions and the feelings that you are going through and how you're dealing with them and just displaying them in physical actions. So it'll be the first really thought-out video that I've done."
