Selena Gomez surprised the young patients at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia on Friday when she joined Ryan Seacrest at the launch of The Voice.

The Voice is a new "multi-media center inside of Children's Hospital where kids will be able to host radio shows, blog and even broadcast on closed circuit TV." The Ryan Seacrest Foundation teamed up with Coca-Cola and E! News to fund the construction of the studio.

On attending the event, Selena said, "It's definitely one of my favorite parts of my job." Adding, "Being able to do this is nice and humbling."

Ryan tweeted a thank you to Selena, saying, "The smiles that @SelenaGomez brought to kids' faces at @RyanFoundation... unforgettable. #thankyouselly."
