A little more than two weeks after his attack, Gavin DeGrawis gearing up to head back on tour with Maroon 5 and Train! DeGraw was attackedoutside a New York City East Village bar and was left with a concussion, brokennose, and black eyes.
The singer spoke to VH1 earlier this month about recoveringfrom the brutal attack. “I’m feeling much better, but it will take a little bitmore time to be back to 100%,” he said. “I’m overwhelmed with the outpouring ofsupport from my fans, friends and family.”
While many speculated that DeGraw was attacked because ofhis “celebrity status,” sources have confirmed that was not the case. “Theseguys jumped him from out of nowhere. It’s weird because they didn’t takeanything,” a source told Us Weekly. “I think they did it for sport.”
After his attack, the singer had to cancel shows in Wantagh,New York and Mansfield, Massachusetts.
What do you think? Are you happy to see Gavin back on stageor does he need more time to recover?
