The Carrera Sunglasses Escape took place this past weekend at the legendary Chateau Marmont in Hollywood! Celebrating fabulous eye-wear, the summer event welcomed celebrities and tastemakers to enjoy a night out on the town with tunes provided by the talented (and might we add, very blonde!) Samantha Ronson.

Other celebrities who took part in the "urban retreat" included Mischa Barton, Malin Akerman, Rosario Dawson, Rumer Willis and more.  The Hollywire ladies were also on hand to enjoy the breezy bungalow environment where the sponsors of the event included MiO Liquid Water Enhancer, SOUL byLudacris, UV Vodka, DavidBartonGym, Venroy Australia and AsahiBeer.

Samantha Ronson performed some live tunes and also put her DJ skills to use and was even spotted hanging with good friend Rumer Willis.  Mischa Barton on the other hand was spotted stocking up on party favor glow sticks which she explained was in preparation for Burning Man. Hilarious!

While Barton has been out of the scene for a while now, she is currently working on a few films to come out in the next year -- one being the much anticipated and star studded film, What to Expect When Your Expecting, a movie also starring Elizabeth Banks, Jennifer Lopez, Cameron Diaz, Matthew Morrison and Dennis Quaid.
