One of our very favorite presentations at New York Fashion Week was that of spunky designer, Rachel Antonoff. My partner, Katie Krause and I teamed up with M.A.C Cosmetics to go backstage for an up-close and personal look at the models hair and makeup styles used to create an Addams Family inspired look for her Spring 2012 collection.

We even chatted with the designer, who told us all about her inspiration and the items in her 2011 NYFW survival kit! Check out the exclusive video here!

The quirky and cute designer told us that her main inspiration was Wednesday Addams when it came to the presentation which lent its self to a set made to look like a haunted house, complete with spiders, bloody hatchets, and ghosts all made out of cardboard, thankfully. The models looked flawless and beautiful as they stood pale, emotionless  and sinister yet precious while showing off the adorable collection.

And, what is the specifics about the collection you ask? For Spring 2011, Antonoff's seeing white lace dresses with long sleeves and baby-doll skirts, plus Peter Pan collars and schoolgirl pleats. Polka dots and of course oxford shoes. Rachel proves her looks to be fresh and fun, but also stays pretty true to her girly yet edgy style.

Celebrity spotting: One of Hollywire's favorite rockstars Hayley Williams was on hand during the presentation and is said to be a huge fan/supporter of Antonoff.

We're kinda obsessed with Rachel's Spring 2012 Collection, but we want to know what you think! Cool or creepy?
