It looks like the fairytale is already over for Kim Kardashian!  Just over two months after her wedding to Kris Humphries and a few weeks after her wedding special aired on E!, Ryan Seacrest has confirmed that the reality star is filing for divorce.

"Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce," Seacrest tweeted on Monday morning. "I touched base with her, getting a statement in just a few minutes."  According to TMZ.com, Kardashian will not seek an annulment and is planning to cite "irreconcilable differences."

The couple had a whirlwind romance, announcing an engagement in May after just six months of dating.  The duo walked down the aisle just a few months after that in August! 

Recently, Kim opened up about her newlywed situation not being ideal, as she and Kris moved straight to New York after the wedding to live with Kourtney Kardashian, her longtime boyfriend Scott Disick and son Mason Disick. 

Kim and Kris have had to fight off several tabloid rumors over the past few weeks that their relationship was in turmoil, but it looks like there was truth to the speculation afterall!  Their last public appearance together was at Kim's Las Vegas birthday party just over a week ago, but the duo was also together at the beginning of last week while visiting Rob Kardashian at Dancing With the Stars.
