Porta de Rossi and her celebrity wife Ellen DeGeneres invited Architectural Digest on a tour of their $49 million Beverly Hills mansion for the October issue. The mansion is a three-acre compound that features plenty of artwork by various artist including Andy Warhol and Jean-Michael Basquiat, designer furniture from around the world and a closet full of sneakers and stilettos.
Ellen has a passion for real estate and interior design that stems from growing up in rentals and looking at houses with her father, who always dreamed of becoming a home owner.
Ellen said, "We never had a house when I was growing up. We always rented. But my father would dream, and we used to look at houses all the time. I'd pick out which bedroom would be mine and get all excited."
Adding, "The first thing I did when I made money was buy a house. And then..." "Another one," Portia says. "And another one and another one and another one."
What do you think of Ellen & Portia's home?
