The IFP Gotham Independent Films Awards -- sponsored by euphoria Calvin Klein -- took place last night and the show attracted some of Hollywood's finest actors! Budding starlet (and baby Olsen sister) Elizabeth Olsen stole the show in her sequined floor-length gown, and she was in good company. Charlize Theron, Penn Badgley and more stars that cross over from mainstream to indie flicks, and they all looked gorgeous!
Charlize proved she's a red carpet pro with this sexy, chic ensemble. Love how the deep-V neckline falls into that killer drop-waist skirt with a gold-gilded belt. And adding a pop of color on the lip is a nice touch. Flawless, though it's definitely a look only Charlize can pull off.
We love the look of Elizabeth Olsen's soft sheer gray gown, though the loose, low waistline makes the dress a bit unflattering. But we'll forgive, particularly because she nailed the hair. And we're just pretty big fans.
Up In The Air actress Vera Farmiga looked sophisticated in this understated, wintery ensemble -- and while she's mostly covered up, that neckline adds a touch of sexiness to the look.
Meanwhile, inside the show...
Penn Badgley looked like he was having a good time at his table with Zachary Quinto, though Penn was sans new flame Zoe Kravitz. We heard he left early and took home two euphoria Calvin Klein gift bags -- one for men and one for women. Perhaps a late-night perfume-spritzing rendezvous with Zoe? Cute.
Elizabeth posed with actress Felicity Jones who has been getting a ton of buzz for her emotional performance in Like Crazy. That seafoam green hue looks gorgeous with her dark locks!
Charlize took home an award that night and said, "I'm horrible at these things. I find myself so overwhelmed. Can'tbelieve that's how my life turned out. I am living my dream - all I ever wantedwas to pay my rent by acting." Well, Charlize certainly surpassed her expectations!
We're happy that awards shows like this honor independent films -- and the stars -- we love so much!
Who do you think looked best at the show??
