Kim Kardashian: 'My Idea of Love Has Changed'

Kim Kardashian may have had a  fairy tale wedding courtesy of E!, but she admits that her idea of love has now been changed. While joining her sisters Kourtney and Khloe on the January cover issue of Glamour magazine, she talks about her new perception of love after her split from husband of 72-days Kris Humphries.

After calling herself a “hopeless romantic,” she says, “It means that I believe in love and the dream of having a perfect relationship, but my idea of it has changed. I think I need to not live in a fairy tale like that. I think I maybe need to just snap out of it and be a little more realistic.”

Kim has always been open about her dream of having a big family of her own, but now she admits that maybe it’s not in the cards for her.

“I always wanted what Mom and Dad had. And at first I was like, I want six kids. Then I went down to four, then I was down to three, and now I’m like, maybe I won’t have any,” she said.  “Maybe I’ll just be a good aunt … At this moment in my life, I feel like maybe I’m not supposed to have kids and all that … That’s how I feel. Maybe my fairy tale has a different ending than I dreamed it would. But that’s OK.”

It’s good to see Kim be so positive and optimistic about the whole situation. Going through a divorce or even a nasty breakup can bring anyone down, but it opened up her eyes to what’s real. I like the idea that she said she has to "snap out of it", but I do think she'll find someone for her, that will treat her right. I have nowhere near the fame and fortune Kim has, but I am known to be a really strong woman, and sadly.. that makes it very difficult to find the right man to share my life. Hang in there Kim... stay positive, stay strong, and most of all, be true to YOU.
