Lady Gaga Launches The Born This Way Foundation

Lady Gaga is teaming up with Harvard University and The California Endowment to make a difference in a teen’s life. The Born This Way Foundation is a non-profit organization aimed at empowering youth and putting a stop to anti-bullying around the country.

In a statement, Lady Gaga talked about the foundation, which she calls a “passion project” and what she hopes will come out of it in the end.

“Together we hope to establish a standard of bravery and kindness, as well as a community worldwide that protects and nurtures others in the face of bullying and abandonment.”

The charity, which will be directed by Gaga and her mother, will address issues like self-confidence, well-being, anti-bullying, mentoring, and career development.
