British singer, Leona Lewis displayed her love for animals and heart of gold this past weekend as she hosted a star studded charity event, raising money and awareness for the Hopefield Animal Sanctuary.
Taking to the red carpet, (and trying to stay out of the rain that welcomed party goers) I (Chelsea Briggs) chatted with the former X-Factor winner and celebrity supporters who shared their insight on the good cause and why peeps should get involved!
If there's one thing I love about Hollywood, it's celebs who give back! Check out the interviews below, and prepare to be inspired!
"I've been a vegetarian for many years, and a huge animal activist and animal lover, and when I saw the amazing work that Hopefield has been doing, I just wanted to be involved. I wanted to help them save the animals there!" Leona told me as she sparkled from head to toe in a vintage gown.
The 26-year-old 'do-gooder,' was joined by some of her celebrity friends including singer/ songwriter, Natasha Bedingfield and Glee star Matthew Morrison. "You have to stand up and make a difference and I just really love that my mate Leona is making a difference!" Bedingfield proudly told me.
