And The Generation Next Winners ARE?!
It was a fashionable night out at the Avalon in Hollywood on Saturday night, as the the final event in the O'Neill Generation Next fashion competition came to a close!
For the first time ever, two fabulous girls were selected as co-grand prize winners in the fourth annual fashion competition!
Grace An from Murrieta, CA and Nahal Yasahar from Beverly Hills, CA were both awarded an internship with O'Neill, a $5,000 scholarship, and both of their designs will be featured in O'Neills Girls collection next year!
A total of five finalists spent the last eight months designing their very own signature handbag and dress with an O'Neill mentor in hopes that it would get a featured spot in next seasons O'Neill Girls Collection.

As part of this amazing competition, each finalist had their designs modeled on the catwalk by international supermodel and O'Neill's own brand ambassador, Elyse Taylor. The sold out crowd was even given a sneak peek of O'Neills Girls Spring 2012 collection followed by a live performance by Everest!

Grace found a way to blend her love for grunge with O'Neill's beachy feel and ended up with this sleeveless top and sheer mid-length skirt that she sewed together.

Nahal's winning design was a Rio inspired bohemian maxi dress with long flowing sleeves and fringe detail paired with a simple bohemian inspired purse to match!
