One of my favorite band boys, Jordan Witzigreuter of The Ready Set -- let me in on what he is most thankful for this Thanksgiving holiday. With a year that brought the talented fella a generous amount of success, it's great to hear from a guy who remains as grounded as the first time we chatted with him, a year and a half ago.
"I'd say the best thing about Thanksgiving food is always pumpkin pie. I'm a fan of any pumpkin pie, but whencream cheese gets involved..." The 22-year-old told us about his most prized Turkey Day recipe.
And, what's the shaggy haired, music man most thankful for this year? Check out his top 5 things below! (And not in any particular order, he mentioned.)
1. The fact that I get to do what I love for a job. I sometimes overlook that, but it's truly an incredible thing.
2. My forever-supportive family.
3. The crew I tour with (they are amazing!)
4. All of the awesome friends I've made out on the road, and the great fansI've met at the shows.
5. That I get to go home for Christmas!
Welp, it's official that we love Jordan for his cute, down-to-earth answers. For more on The Ready Set, you can visit their website & follow the gang via Twitter! Not to mention, the spunky band will be hitting the road for an epic tour with some of Hollywire's fav bands including: All Time Low, The Summer Set and The Downtown Fiction this month -- so be sure to check them out in a city near you!
And, if you haven't picked up their electronic-pop debut album, I'm Alive, I'm Dreaming yet (well, you're kinda late at it, but we'll forgive you) -- then do so now! You should also check out their newest EP Feel Good Now that just dropped.
Can't get enough? Take a look back at our tour bus interview with Jordan a few months back!
And.. on behalf of The Ready Set and Hollywire.com we wish you guys a very happy day of Thanks!
