Ryan Gosling Fans Protest Bradley Cooper Named 'Sexiest Man Alive'

Ryan Gosling fans are NOT happy and they made a valid effort to show it! While Bradley Cooper may have been chosen as PEOPLE magazine’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive,’ fans of the Ides of March actor were furious. So what did they do? Protest of course!

All decked out in Gosling masks and signs in their hands, protestors showed up outside the magazine’s office in NYC to show how they REALLY felt about this year’s winner. Their signs read “Ryan was robbed” and “Not MY people,” and their chants sounded a little something like this: “One two, three, four, Bradley Cooper’s such a bore. Five, six, seven, eight, Ryan Gosling’s super great!”

Executive editor of PEOPLE, Liz Sporkin, finally stepped out to defend their choice. “We stand by our man!” she said in a statement. “Bradley Cooper is the whole package. He’s gorgeous, talented, brainy, loves his mom, can cook up a storm and speaks fluent French! Who can argue with that?”

While those qualities are pretty drool-worthy, we have to admit, Ryan would have been the PERFECT choice! But hey! That’s just our opinion.
